B5. Location Notes

This panel is located on the lower section of a gently SE sloping incline in a shallow, upland valley of marginal land at Cnoc a' Mhuilinn. The River Abhainn Sgitheach runs W to E, approximately 300 m to the S, between the panel and which there is undulating terrain. The panel is located within an area of moorland and rough grazing, on the edge of a commercial forestry plantation to the N. A new fence, which runs E to W can be found c. 12m to the S of the panel. This panel is the most southerly of the grouping at Cnoc a' Mhuilinn; its nearest known neighbour (Cnoc a' Mhuilinn 6) is located approximately 180m to NW further up the slope.

A roughly oval shaped, flat panel 1.1 x 0.7m in size, with up to 0.2m height from the ground level. This stone slab has been decorated with 8 cup marks which have been arranged in an arc shape at the NE end of the panel, with a central cup at the apex of the arc.
