B5. Location Notes
The panel could not be located. The location described by Van Hoek is 15m E of Kilmichael Glassary 3 on an outcrop of rock; however, no outcrop could be found. That location is in use as a modern scrap pile under which is a thickly moss-covered field wall. The surrounding area was searched by nothing matching the description could be identified.
Previous Notes
NR89SE 26 858 935
Situated some 15m E of Kilmichael Glassary 2 (NR89SE 17) is a low outcrop ridge, sloping 7 degrees NE. It bears five cups, three rather large and deep. The biggest cup is surrounded by the faint remains of two rings. Some 4m further E is another outcrop with a large depression on a lower SE ledge, possibly natural. Markings covered up by Mr van Hoek.
M van Hoek 1989; NMRS, MS/316.
