B5. Location Notes
Take the B733 from Wigtown 1.5k towards Torhouse. After going straight over the crossroads (by Low Cotland), look for the prominent stone to the South on the near horizon at the top of the small hill, go through the gate below it, keeping the field wall, which runs up the hill, on your left. At the top there is a pile of stones, possibly the remains of a cairn 10m from the wall to its W. The main panel is on the north side of the cairn (Neilson's Hill 1). This, the second panel, is 2m to the S of Neilson's Hill 1, and borders on the E side of the cairn. The stone wall is 5m to its E and the grid ref is accurate to 1.9m.
