The panel is situated within a shallow gully on open SSE sloping moorland with scattered plantations of trees, overlooking Strath Sgitheach and with longer range views SE to the Black Isle. It is within an extensive area of hut circles and field systems on the N side of Strath Sgitheach.

The panel is a ridge shaped block of schist with a triangular profile, measuring 0.8 x 0.6m and a maximum height of 0.4m. The carved surface faces S and is corrugated by a series of low ridges in the rock. There are 4 shallow cups and 1 possible cup.
