The panel located in a low-lying flat area of rough grazing, generally in the bottom of Strath Sgitheach. The Allt an Criche passes about 15m to the W. A vehicle track (not marked on the OS 1:25k map) crosses the Allt an Criche at a ford which is filled with large boulders. The panel is almost completely overgrown and located about 20m S of the ford.

The panel is a large flat slab of schist. The overall size and shape is uncertain, the edges were not exposed. There are 3 shallow cups together and a further (unlikely) indentation about 1m away.
