This stone circle is situated on a hill summit in a field about 470m ENE of Innesmill and in the NW corner of crossroads. The area around is farmed, but the immediate stone circle area is left as rough grass. The westernmost orthostat exhibits circular indents on the top, with channels of weathering extending from them.

OS (RD) recognised cupmarks on the westernmost standing stone in January 1965. In January 1972 OS (RL) considered that they had been caused by weathering. We agree with this opinion.
