The grid reference sites the panel within woodland adjacent to a stone wall at the W edge of the Cochno Road. A thorough search was made of the area within a radius of 30m of the grid reference, but no cup and ring marked rocks were located. Local residents noted that the rock art might have been obscured or removed during developments of the road and wall since the 1960s when the original record was made.
