B5. Location Notes
A thorough search was conducted within a 50m radius of the Canmore grid reference. Much of this area comprises turf covering the bedrock to a depth of at least 0.4m. Only natural features were identified on exposed rock surfaces within the area surveyed, and it is assumed that one of these is the 'cupmark' mentioned in the Canmore entry.
